Closed Gyms Misson
The Closed Gyms mission is to foster a competitive and positive basketball learning experience for its players.
We encourage people to ask themselves just two questions:
1) Is my player having fun?
2) Is my player getting better?

Closed Gyms Expectations
Players should...
Coaches should...
Parents should...
We should be the classiest coaches, players, and parents every time we play.
- have fun
- be attentive, listening and following directions at all times
- play with respect for teammates, competition, coaches, and officials
- always display good basketball body language
- be responsible for their own stuff (bag, water, ball, snacks, gear)
- show up ready to play and hustle (no excuses)
- pay attention on the bench (there is as much to learn from the bench as on the court)
- win without boasting, lose without excuses
Coaches should...
- teach the players how to play basketball the right way
- be a positive example of how to react to bad calls
- be a positive influence on the players
Parents should...
- be a positive source of encouragement and support
- understand we will not have good officiating, that is a given
- be a positive example of how to react to bad calls
- tell the players they love them, they enjoyed watching them play , and they hope they had fun
